After selling real estate for 24 years, I have added 'HomeStaging' to my marketing toolbox. We are proud to take the initiative to be the first real estate team in the Grand Rapids area to offer this invaluable service to our Clients. We acknowledge that there may be only one shot at attracting and appealing to a potential buyer, and choose to provide every opportunity to our sellers.

Our team will assess the home, identify the problems, set goals, estimate the time and materials necessary to complete our assignment, and offer solutions. For vacant homes, we begin at the home's entry, (the buyers critical first impression), adding wreaths, garden pots or plantings. We will then add vignettes of furniture and assessories, typically concentrating in the main living areas; living room, kitchen, and family room, but also adding splashes of color in the bedrooms and bathrooms through towels and greenery, flowers and props. We will STAGE/DECORATE your home, setting it apart from other similar homes on the market.

Depending on the style of home, we are often able to use our own supply of furniture and assessories, and we have local specialty and furniture stores to add any specificly recommended items. Furniture will be properly placed, lighting and area rugs will come next, pictures and accessories are the last to arrange, but are truly the icing on the cake!

If you're currently living in your home, we will work with the furnishings you already have, first by removing all of the items from the room, then we rebuild it, giving your home a new, more desirable look. To do this, we may recommend storing some of your items, and adding some new assessories to add a shot of color or interest to a room. We'll strive to detract from your homes incurable drawbacks and transform your home, so that it feels warm and inviting, thus encouraging a second look, and the sale.

Our initial consultation will be done for a flat fee based on home size, but consultation is FREE for our listed properties. Extra fees are then based on the cost of labor and materials, and are broken down in detail, allowing you to pick and choose from our 'menu' of available services.

HomeStagers have been featured on HGTV and "Home Lifestyles T.V. Show" and featured in the San Jose Mercury News. We work with, and specialize in, corporations and relocation companies selling company owned home inventory, and builders spec homes. We also stage homes for Realtors with homes listed on the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors multiple list service, and "For Sale By Owners".
